Choujun Miyagi direct transmission
We, the International Meibukan Gojyu-ryu Karate-Do Association (Headquarters in Kume, Naha City, Okinawa Pref), lead by President Akihito Yagi, are pleased to announce the grand opening of our “Tokyo Headquarters” in Shinjuku. Our slogan is “Karate – Let’s Make that Connection – Okinawa and Tokyo !” We bring the same high quality practice contents as our dojo in Okinawa. Our teachings are from the founder of Gojyu-ryu, the Great Master Chojyun Miyagi, in which the art was succeeded by Master Meitoku Yagi, then passed down from father to son, generation to generation to Master Meitatsu Yagi to the present successor, Master Akihito Yagi. Whether you are a skilled expert in other Karate styles or whether you have never tried Karate before, but have interest in Okinawan culture, our practice will accommodate any level of experience - we welcome you all. Please feel free to come and see our practice. Photo:Meitoku Sensei
